How to Become an Investor:

First Step: Getting your investor number

To invest on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), you need to obtain an investor number. This unique identification number, issued by ADX, is essential for initiating all transactions on the exchange, including clearing, settlement, and trading activities.

Investors can obtain an investor number from ADX through any of the following service channels:

Second Step: Choosing & Appointing a Broker

You can choose your Broker firm through:

Choose a licensed brokerage firm from our list of licensed brokerage firms.
Visit the "Find Your Broker" page on ADX website.
Contact the selected firm and provide the necessary information.

Third Step: Start Trading

Begin trading by placing orders to buy and sell shares. Investors can monitor share movements through trading screens at ADX, the official ADX website, or the brokerage firms applications.
You can decide to buy or sell by:

Entering purchase and sell orders through the brokerage firm’s official website or mobile application.
Communicating with a broker directly, either face-to-face or via phone call, to request order entries.

The trading session is divided into four stages to enter the orders of buying and selling:
